Communication Site Management

Operator of the communications tower site at 190 Colt Highway in Farmington, on Rattlesnake Mountain. In July 2026 it asked the town to top 10 to 15 trees along the east edge of the northern guy wire easement to restore the sight line for a satellite dish. Town staff concluded the Ridgeline Protection Zone permitting requirements do not apply because the trees are being pruned rather than removed, and the TPZ concluded on July 27, 2026 that no formal application was required.
