Update, May 1, 2026: The Aparo + 500 South Road shoplifting pattern documented above has now been joined by a second officer/location pairing in the FM police log series — Officer Jose R. Santiago at 1600 Southeast Road, where on April 30 he made his second on-scene arrest in three days, both connected to retail theft. The April 30 arrest, like several at 500 South Road, was a single §53a-125b Larceny 6th Degree charge.
