The Farmington Police Department's Tuesday arrest log covers five days — Wednesday, April 2 through Monday, April 7 — and seven entries. Five people are named. One of them accounts for three of those entries.

This log at a glance: 7 entries · 5 suspects · All non-Farmington residents Period covered: Wednesday, April 2 – Monday, April 7, 2026

Three Entries in One Afternoon: April 6

Jaiden Tyreik Bethea, 20, of New Britain, is the reason for that count. The sequence, reconstructed from incident numbers and timestamps, runs roughly like this: at 1:04 and 1:05 p.m. on April 6, Officer Nicholas Marozzi arrested Bethea at 319 New Britain Avenue on two re-arrest warrants — one for failure to appear first degree, one for failure to appear second degree, both related to prior pending charges.

Less than an hour later, at 1:56 p.m., Officer Jose Santiago arrested Bethea again, this time at Fast Track (listed in the log as the arrest location) on a separate, fuller warrant. Charges:

  • Third-degree burglary
  • Conspiracy to commit burglary
  • Sixth-degree larceny
  • Conspiracy to commit larceny
  • Illegal use of a payment card
  • Use of a revoked payment card under $500
  • Third-degree identity theft

Bond on that set: $5,000 surety. Bethea was held. He is presumed innocent of all charges. Court dates for all three entries were April 7 — the same morning the log was published.

A Double on Farmington Avenue: April 4

Officer Malik Brown had a long day on April 4. At 12:23 a.m., he arrested Eric Harrison Butler, 31, of West Hartford, on Farmington Avenue — failure to drive in proper lane, DUI. Butler posted a $5,000 nonsurety bond.

Later that evening, at 8:50 p.m., Brown was back on Farmington Avenue with David Thompson, 58, of North Haven. Thompson's stop produced five charges:

  • Operating under the influence
  • Operating under suspension
  • Failure to drive in proper lane
  • Failure to carry registration and insurance
  • Interfering with an officer

Thompson also posted a $5,000 bond. Brown has now appeared in this log five times; his prior entries centered on Birch Street. Both Butler and Thompson are presumed innocent.

West Avon Road: April 5

On the afternoon of April 5, Officer Kelsey Fortier arrested Michael Louis Carr, 54, of Canton, at the intersection of West Avon Road and Keyes Street — operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Carr posted a $5,000 nonsurety bond and has a court date of April 20. He is presumed innocent.

Mallard Drive: April 2

The first entry in this log is the simplest. On the evening of April 2, Officer Ryan DiFusco arrested Tiffany M. Villodas, 38, of Hartford, at 30 Mallard Drive on a disorderly conduct charge. Villodas posted a $2,500 nonsurety bond. Her listed court date was April 6 — that date has now passed, though outcomes from any proceedings were not available in the arrest log. She is presumed innocent.

All seven entries in this log name addresses outside Farmington: New Britain, West Hartford, North Haven, Canton, Hartford.

This log covers the period April 2–7, 2026, and is compiled from the Farmington Police Department's press arrest log, which redacts juvenile records. Charges are allegations. All persons named are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
