Farmington Architectural Design Review Committee Sends Crown Equities Back Lot by Lot on the Enclave

The Farmington Architectural Design Review Committee took its first formal look at the Enclave at the Farmington River master plan on Thursday, May 21, and after about two hours of going through three lots, one neighborhood at a time, sent the applicant back with a punch list and a deadline. Committee member Sheldon Crosby said the consensus was "on the right track and keep going" — but the chair set a strict rule: lot-by-lot resubmission, complete packages only, before the June 18 follow-up. The TPZ public hearing on the 237-unit, 80-acre project is set for July 13.

Farmington's Architectural Design Review Committee spent a second evening shaping the 237-unit Enclave at the Farmington River down to the brick, the dormers, and the fences. Then it sent the project to the Town Plan and Zoning Commission with a recommendation and no power to vote. The binding decision comes at a July 13 public hearing.
