A man was killed in Farmington in March and left in the wood line behind a Talcott Forest Road condominium complex. For nearly four months the record held no name. On Friday, Farmington police charged Cynthia Martinez, 27, of Meriden, with the murder of Derick William Mercado-Labonte, 29, of Bridgeport, and held her on a $3 million bond. She is presumed innocent.
