FARMINGTON — The Farmington Police Department's weekend log lists three arrests. Two were recorded Sunday at 15 Stonegate under one incident number, 38 minutes apart. The same officer made both arrests, and both people were charged with disorderly conduct. One was also charged with third-degree assault.
The log does not identify their relationship, describe what happened or name another party.
Friday, August 21
11:15 a.m., GA 18, the Hartford courthouse. Officer Jeffrey A. Glaude arrested Caitlin Ramos, 39, of Wolcott, on a warrant. Police charged her with sixth-degree larceny under section 53a-125b of the Connecticut General Statutes, using a revoked payment card for less than $500 under section 53a-128d, receipt from the illegal use of a credit card under section 53a-128g and third-degree identity theft under section 53a-129d. The arrest appears under incident number 2600008738.
The first three charge lines list no separate bond and print "$.00" in the bond column. The identity-theft charge carries a $1,000 surety bond, but the log does not say it was posted. GA 18 is the listed processing location, not a location identified for the alleged conduct. Court date August 21.
Sunday, August 23
11:25 a.m., 15 Stonegate Road. Officer Daniel R. Aparo arrested Rocco James Nozik, 53, of Farmington. Police charged him with disorderly conduct under section 53a-182 and third-degree assault under section 53a-61. The disorderly-conduct line lists no separate bond and prints "$.00"; the assault charge carries a $5,000 nonsurety bond. The log says bond was posted. Incident number 2600013744. Court date August 24.
12:03 p.m., 15 Stonegate in Unionville. Aparo arrested Marisa Dawn Mealy, 52, of Farmington, on a disorderly-conduct charge under section 53a-182. The log lists a $5,000 nonsurety bond and says bond was posted. The arrest carries the same incident number as Nozik's. Court date August 24.
Nozik and Mealy share the same incident number, officer, arrest date, 15 Stonegate location and disorderly-conduct charge. The location field calls Nozik's arrest “00015 STONEGATE RD” and Mealy's “15 Stonegate Unionville, CT.” Beyond those shared fields, the log supplies no narrative and does not explain the connection.
