Farmington Police Log, June 11: One Arrest on New Britain Avenue, Two Charges

A Southington man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on New Britain Avenue on charges of disorderly conduct and fourth-degree sexual assault, according to the Farmington PD arrest log. Jeffery Chasse, 37, posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court June 25.

A Southington man was arrested on New Britain Avenue on Wednesday afternoon on charges of disorderly conduct and fourth-degree sexual assault, according to the Farmington Police Department's public arrest log.

Jeffery Chasse, 37, of 431 Mill Street in Southington, was taken into custody at 3:02 p.m. at 319 New Britain Avenue. The arrest was made by Officer Nicholas R. Marozzi. Two nonsurety bonds of $5,000 each were posted. Chasse is scheduled to appear in court on June 25. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The charges are §53a-182 Disorderly Conduct, a Class C misdemeanor under Connecticut General Statutes, and §53a-73a Sexual Assault in the Fourth Degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
