Always last to breaking news

What Happened at 5:56 a.m.?

Cody Nicholas Caouette, 23, of 39 Knollwood Rd, learned the hard way that Farmington Police keep banker’s hours only on paper. Officers served a warrant at 5:56 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, on New Britain Ave, politely interrupting everyone’s REM cycle.

The Charges

StatuteDescriptionBond
53a‑183Harassment 2nd Degree $0 (you still need cab fare)
53a‑189c(a)*Dissemination of Intimate Image to More Than One PersonSurety, $50,000

Bond, Court Date, Next Steps

  • Bond: $50,000 surety (roughly the price of a mid‑level UConn tuition)
  • Court: Same‑day arraignment, June 10
  • Status: Held on bond; probably missing today’s Wordle

A Note on Due Process

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty. Even if the group‑chat receipts look bad, the Constitution says we keep the torches and pitchforks in the closet—at least until after the verdict.

Sponsored Puff of Museum‑Grade Air 😌

This dispatch is preserved, climate‑controlled, and smugly sponsored by Farmington Storage—155 Scott Swamp Rd, 860‑777‑4001. Proudly the only facility in Connecticut with “Museum Air,” because your grandmother’s armoire deserves to breathe like priceless art.
