FARMINGTON — A New Britain man, 65, was charged with third-degree burglary, disorderly conduct and sexual contact with an animal after his arrest on Devonwood Drive Monday afternoon. He posted bond.

The Farmington police logs for the four days ending at 7 a.m. Tuesday list seven arrests. Another New Britain man posted a $50,000 surety bond on a violation of probation warrant Monday. Two Hartford women were arrested in connection with shoplifting, one at Westfarms Mall, the other at the same minute as a warrant arrest. Two men were arrested on warrants the log lists without charges.

Saturday, Sept. 7

1:00 p.m., an address the log lists as 634 Newfield Street. Taylor arrested Shatoya Renee Lewis, 25, of Hartford, twice at the same minute, under two incident numbers.
