FARMINGTON — The Farmington Police Department published its press arrest log on Tuesday, on Wednesday and again on Thursday. All three were one page. All three were blank.
Together they cover 7 a.m. Monday through 7 a.m. Thursday without a gap: 72 consecutive hours in which the department recorded no arrests at all.
No name, no charge, no bond, no court date, no remarks. The form exists to hold arrests. For three days it held none, and the department posted it anyway, on schedule, the way it does every weekday.
Total arrests, Sept. 1 through Sept. 3: none. Not unknown. None.
