FARMINGTON — The arrest log covering 7 a.m. Friday through 7 a.m. Monday records five arrests, including two at Westfarms Mall twenty-two minutes apart on the same incident number.
It is the most on a single Farmington log since the seven on the Sept. 4 to 8 page. The three logs before this one, running from Tuesday morning to Friday morning, recorded no arrests at all.
Four of the five bonds below are listed as nonsurety. In Connecticut that is a written promise to appear with a dollar amount attached: the person does not post cash and does not buy a bond from a bondsman. The one surety bond on this log had to be secured.
Friday, Sept. 11
10:26 a.m., GA 18 in Torrington, the Superior Court location that handles Farmington criminal cases. Officer Jeffrey A. Glaude arrested Takalia Baldwin, 46, of Hartford, on a warrant and charged her with first-degree criminal trespass under section 53a-107 of the Connecticut General Statutes. Bond was set at $1,000, surety. Her court date was Sept. 11, the day of the arrest.
Saturday, Sept. 12
2:05 a.m., Meadow Road at Garden Street. Officer John A. Salute arrested Donovan Lovell Shaw, 24, of East Hartford, and charged him with operating under the influence under section 14-227a and failure to drive in the proper lane under section 14-236. Bond was $2,500, nonsurety, on the impaired-driving count. The lane charge carries none of its own. Court date Sept. 25.
2:20 p.m., 500 South Road, the address for Westfarms Mall. Officer Joseph G. Aiello arrested Lydia E. Lozada, 26, of East Hartford, and charged her with third-degree assault under section 53a-61 and second-degree breach of peace under section 53a-181(a)(2). Bond was $5,000, nonsurety, the highest figure on the log. Court date Sept. 25.
2:42 p.m., Westfarms Mall. Aiello arrested Alyjah Monique Almodovar, 24, of Bloomfield, and charged her with second-degree breach of peace under section 53a-181. Bond was $2,500, nonsurety. Court date Sept. 25.
Both Westfarms arrests carry the same incident number, which means the department recorded them as one event. The log does not say what happened, does not name anyone else, and does not describe any relationship between the two women.
Sunday, Sept. 13
10:20 a.m., 319 New Britain Avenue, the Farmington Police Department. Officer Aaron M. Benham arrested Louis D. Fiore, 38, of Bristol, on a warrant and charged him with sixth-degree larceny under section 53a-125b. Bond was $1,500, nonsurety. Court date Sept. 28.
